So moral issues become non-issues so long as you don't think about them? My oh my, your logic is flawless. It's a wonder none of the great philosophers ever came to this conclusion.

This is fantastic.

I absolutely loved this game (it's probably in my top 5), but I do have to agree with most of this article. The Bioshock games have always really pushed my OCD buttons with the looting system, but it's never been a conflict before. I could poke around in Rapture for hours, and I wasn't really doing it /instead/ of

The third .gif looks like an evil Ben Kingsley.

I was actually impressed with how unpleasant the killing in this game was. It was supposed to be reprehensible. *SPOILERS* When Elizabeth asks Booker about his past, he mentions that it's one thing to kill a man, but it's another to enjoy doing it. Booker got to the point where he enjoyed killing, and he feels

Ultimately, this critique is a bloated, over-wrought explanation of how the author entirely missed the point. Sure, some of the critiques are valid, but jeez, she's digging deep to find stuff to whine about.

Hey now, I can totally agree about Prototype, but Ultimate Destruction was great. I still play that on occasion.

Agreed. It looks pretty stale.

This is hilarious. The game was brilliant. This parody is brilliant.

I think the Wii U's biggest problem is that nobody knows about it. Honestly, I know a ton of "non-gamers" who have and love the Wii. They were all over it when it first came out. If I ask any one of them what they think about the Wii U, though, the response is always: "What's that?" It's probably the worst

The dramatic ending was only dramatic until the army of pigs burst forth from the cliff. Then it was... Something else.

I think the multiple Elizabeths answer the issue of other Bookers at the Baptism. I think that, because of her powers, every Elizabeth is linked to every other. Is it possible that those Elizabeth's converged after tidying up all of the other Bookers who got to the baptism?

I know, right?

Phoenix White: Race Attorney.

Honestly, I could understand saying the gameplay isn't that great if the mechanics were somehow broken, but they're not. It's a matter of opinion, then, and I think people are just looking for something to really pick on. Yes, combat's hectic, and sometimes it's frustrating, but I actually thought it was an absolute

The story has more impact than a movie ever would because of its interactive nature. You control the pace, and you're immersed in the events that are tearing apart the city. You get to feel like you're building a relationship with Elizabeth. The only reason they've "limited their audience" is because some people

If "Durango" really has an always online requirement, my 360 will be the last Microsoft console I buy.

I haven't finished the game yet, but so far I've actually enjoyed the combat. Honestly, though, I'm a bit more interested in the way the game deals with the combat tonally, like how Elizabeth gasps in horror every time you pull a sky hook execution. I found myself feeling both entertained and guilty about my killing

I agree. When I saw the initial character designs, I thought that her unnecessarily sexed up appearance would end up being a blemish on the game. I think they made a great choice in toning that down.

I've found that the 130s are either far better than me (a humble level 48) or they're just the kids who bought way too much Mountain Dew when the double xp promotion was going on. It's split about 50/50 between good and completely average players.
