I get this. Wind Waker and/or Metroid Prime are my two favorite games of all time, but if I had to play one game for the rest of my life on a deserted island, I'd probably pick something with emergent narrative, like Skyrim.

I second this motion. Never thought I'd say this, but I'd take Isaac getting his eye gouged out any day. *shudders*
Personally, I take a lot/most of my business to Gamestop. The "Mom and Pop" stores I've been to tend to be sketchy (last time I bought a game from one, my 360 wouldn't even read the disk). I get it, Gamestop is a monopoly, and yes, they do charge ridiculous prices for used games. In the grand scheme of things,…
You would have to pay me to play this game.
Personally, I think the lightsaber battles in the original trilogy were way more tense than any of the extravagant stuff they used in I, II, and III.
Aw yiss... Zeronline and Mike Fahey, you have just destroyed my productivity for the next week. You have my thanks.
Couldn't he have freed his slaves without making slavery an issue? I'd argue that yes, he could have. But he didn't. Also, if a revolution for "freedom" couldn't be made with slavery as an issue, was it worth it? It's worth noting that the British abolished the slave trade a full 30 years before the U.S. Also,…
I don't care what period of history it was, or how many people were doing it. If you're going to stand up for freedoms like the right to "taxation without representation" and make that a bigger deal than the enslavement of an entire race, then you are a hypocrite. George Washington was a hypocrite, and he was a man…
No backward compatibility, no thank you.
Shoot, I had the facts messed up on this one, I remembered things a bit differently, but unfortunately didn't look back into it until after I left that comment. To clarify, he did not scalp anyone, he led an attack on French soldiers during peace time and allowed the Native Americans serving under him to scalp the…
Washington owned slaves, AND scalped women and children. He could be considered a villain in THIS version of reality.
Washington being a villain isn't all that far-fetched, either, given that he, you know, helped start the French and Indian War by scalping a bunch of women and children.
In college, my buddies and I would play a custom game on Sandtrap that we called Ballsafari. It was oddball with altered movement, and everyone had sniper rifles and gravity hammers. It was fantastic.
I would totally play this and recreate every superhero persona I've ever dreamed about becoming.
I'm thinking survival game, semi-horror, semi-fantasy. With some really messed up creepy things that hunt you.
Hardwick is one of the best celebrities.
Good article. Keep it up, Owen!
That female Drell design is fantastic.
Could not agree more.
As I scrolled down, this is what was going through my head: "Phendrana Drifts had better be on here... Phendrana... Wha-.. Wher—Dammit WHERE'S oh good, it made the list. Carry on."
