How exactly is "fail" a childish word to use?

Exactly. These statistics don't say anything to the ethical issues at stake, such as whether or not a fetus is a human being. If a fetus is a human being, then it doesn't matter how inconvenient it may be for the parents. It's a human life, and should be protected as such.

Halo 2 deserves a much higher ranking, higher even than ODST, I think.
