it’s clearly not intended and not even john romero himself will convince me otherwise sorry :)
1) the fact that romero or anyone else never ever hinted at something yet to be discovered in the game
2) there’s nothing special about it, you don’t get anything, it’s not a secret room, we are talking about this: the yellow part is the “secret sector”, you cannot trigger it because as soon as you walk over it, as…
it’s a Pain Elemental, just like the title in the video says: “Pain Elemental reveals the last official secret of Doom 2".
And it wasn’t “assumed to be a bug”, it’s a bug. The fact that there’s an exploit to still trigger it without noclip doesn’t mean it’s not a bug
the best moments I had in gaming were in multiplayer games, but these kind of theme park multiplayer games really turn me off, if you want to build a multiplayer world don’t give me NPCs or a story that mimics a single player game, where every single guy in that world befriends the same NPCs and does the same quests…
turned to solid gold by dr. wily just a second before dabbing
awesome :D
sure, sometimes games were next to impossible to figure out on your own, I almost never completed a game when I was a kid, but I remember sharing secrets about Cadaver by bitmap brothers or how to get a certain event in Laura Bow’s Colonel Bequest with my friends (with no internet and a very basic knowledge of english)
in some games, most of the time the game tells you exactly who an NPC you never met is and where to find it with pinpoint accuracy or you’re handhold-ed to the cave where your quest is located. Especially in MMORPGs and modern rpgs everything feels like a theme park, the world gravitates around you and no matter how…
well I still play old games quite often, at least as often as modern ones :)
too bad you don’t really need any of that for big modern games, there’s always a minimap, a quest marker or something flashing on the screen, mapping a dungeon floor for me was part of the fun and game experience itself
I don’t just remember that game, I have that game on my shelf. Sitting right next to Another World and Flashback
Blackthorne next, c’mon blizzard
yup, the first one is a true classic and the second one is a solid sequel, too bad max payne 3 doesn’t exist
yes you can be anything you want and yes people enjoy getting to meet other people
“Not strictly related to the matter, but weirdly enough, these pro-choice groups are usually also pro-donate-your-organs-by-default”
absolutely false.
But you’re right on something, it’s not about being wealthy, only ignorant
shitty people want to choose for them and for all the others as well
