the lynch mob is obviously wrong and ArenaNet reaction is downright despicable, but the guy was honestly only partecipating to the thread, she completely overreacted... and sadly opened the flank to the shitpeople (I call them this way and yup I’m a dev as well)

the new ones in the main series are too bloated with random stuff for me, I tried to get into them but got bored early on, still I’d buy a blue\red\yellow remake, I played the series until ruby/sapphire and the newer ones just bored me to death, probably I just got too old and I miss the charm of how 90s the old ones…

“abandonware” is not even a legal concept. you should automatically distrust anyone that says something is abandonware, they don’t know what they’re talking about.
Square owns the whole thing for sure as the first game was published by Crystal Dynamics, that is now part of Square, and they released Nosgoth in 2014.…
