agreed, I like Psychonauts’ art style a lot, but I never managed to actually complete the first game, I must admit I rarely get very engaged with 3d platformers but I feel like the game doesn’t really live up to the cult status it has nowadays

I think the difference in styles is actually GREAT, what looks crap is the actual texturing and geometry of some stuff, that edge showed here is a very good example: it looks awful

there are moments that this game looks great, and others that it looks like some shitty fan game hacked up in unity
