“I promise you Inafune-san’s time is best spent focused on taking this IP in new directions. Again, as I said, to be an independent studio and get a chance to own your IP, it just doesn’t happen. It does bring in other opportunities, which is great.”

Yeah, would have been one hell of a new IP if.. you know, had a good

wait... 10 versions? even counting the old consoles I cannot add up to that number, it’s going on mobile too?
PC, Xbone, PS4, Wii U, 3ds, PSVita... and what then.. Mac and Linux? (it’s still the pc version pretty much, very easy to do).
Oh yeah, it’s announced for xbox 360 and ps3 as well... that’s fucking dumb

not necessarily, that depends on how fantasy/cartoony/over the top you want your sci-fi to be. Design that can also be plausible\working is great, but not everything needs that

“The hacker says that he went into the Zelda booth on day one of E3 and noticed that the Wii Us showcasing the game were not retail units.”
And that’s where I stopped reading, this hacker is a noob, of course the game is going to run on a devkit/testkit, probably no game EVER has run on a retail unit on E3. And good

artwork is pretty bad too, seems like he’s way better with spaceships or things that don’t actually need to work

And that’s not even the worst they will experience, they still have to play the game

they are not trying to push it, they are doing satire, you can appreciate that or not, you can find yourself to agree with one strip and not much with another, you can be sure pretty much every strip will be an exaggeration of things too. Some will have a message, some will just be funny, some will be dumb. Like every

mmm are we reading a different comic? Because I see a funny comic about voltron and not much of a pulpit or something to talk about.
They often do satire, but this time you are completely and utterly wrong

PS4 has few interesting titles, and I could finally end getting one for The Last Guardian... we’ll see.
But reading this list I was like:

no it’s actionscript 3

ActionScript 3 doesn’t run only on Flash, you can compile it with Flex ( http://www.adobe.com/products/flex.… ) to make apps that run everywhere, like mobile apps, or stand alone pc software

that’s not visual studio, and as I stated on my post yep, that’s AS3 and it’s totally ok in 2016 to use it to make mobile games, it’s used by more games you can think of ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/games/g… )

what a cringey post mate :\

I think that strip was probably the best of the bunch, Nerd Rage got me too this time. But I laughed my ass off to the dickwolves joke back then so I may be biased towards PA

omg, this must be the worst ending in a videogame ever. I finished many games with lazy endings just popping you back on the main menu after a “congratulations” screen but this is downright an insult, I don’t know what they were thinking

Wow, as game developer I’m actually quite impressed.
1) Barbie is using win xp on a mac, she’s using the gray skin, it’s the best one. She’s probably running Bootcamp.
2) The code in the sticker is ActionScript 3 code, it works, and it’s even related to the game she’s doing, it’s a function called createGem (it’s barely

I don’t know, I live in London and here the Namco Arcade best entries are Flappy Bird, Temple Run and stuff like that. And few on rail shooters from ten years ago or something like that (the newest one is probably Terminator Salvation)... The big awesome machines are from the early 2000, so seems like it stopped

if something works on win7 or 8 it’s going to work on 10 as well, maybe even better

Win 10 is the best os you can have for gaming, so it’s not really a catch

vr in arcades immediately makes me think of sweaty\smelly vr helmets to stick on your face... also arcades died for a good reason, before they had amazingly looking games you could only play there (even if that meant burning out a small fortune each time)
