Seriously they didn’t have to flare that much, but just a little something to make it stand out. My biggest complaint about the Golf R is it stands out less than the GTI from the stock Golf. At least the GTI has the red line.

It looks like you might be able to access the oil filter from the top access panel. Hopefully, this is the case and you don’t have to remove body panels to get to the oil filter.

I like the rear... although the lack of engine access makes me worried about changing the oil. Changing the oil on 997.2 and earlier was actually surprisingly easy and not worth dealer rates. I am puzzled where the stick shift is going to go with the current center console layout, I’m guessing the cupholder won’t

Sounds like it’s time to get yourself a decent Range Rover.

Yes, it is true, I’ve seem it first hand. Anyone who has travelled by train in China has also seen the reality of China’s rural population through the window. However just saying one has witnessed something isn’t the same as data:

Autonomous automatic agriculture sounds just the ticket for a country where the majority of its population lives in 4th world conditions (shanty shacks without windows). Improving manual agriculture methods, training farmers how to grow organic crops and creating a sustainable agricultural economy would just be nuts.

It’s been a while since I’ve indulged in the fast food lane, but I do recall there being nothing sadder than cold french fries. Those little shoe string fries don’t have enough mass to retain heat and once they lose their heat the nasty taste of the ‘vegetable oil’ takes over and they transition from a crisp delight

I’ll be blunt, they are idiots. I’m helping a GM from one of their top performing dealerships look for new opportunities because they don’t have confidence in the brand or in long term profits. Johan de Nysschen started moving the company in the right direction and was forcing it to be a brand separate from GM/Chevy,

Is there an Internet rule where if anyone calls someone out for something, they are almost guaranteed to be guilty of it themselves? It would be a corollary to “if you are really anti ‘x’, you are either x or were x in your past”

If you fly enough, you are bound to forget things, especially if you hit security when there isn’t a line. I remember being half asleep wearing a motorcycle jacket with enough metal in it to forge a suit of armor and walking through detectors without a single beep going off. I know more than once the scanners were not

The undercover air marshals are just a waste of money. It’s become a bunch alcoholics with guns using their ability to bypass security to run drugs.

The issue isn’t the lack of sales as much as having to shut down factories that use to produce sedans. There are a lot of costs associated with shutting down factories or even retooling them for running another CUV. Your average sedan costs 100s of millions to billions of dollars to tool up a production line for,

So, they are saying “write like you’re an uncultured idiot whose vocabulary hasn’t expanded since elementary school.”

So long as they crack down on Harleys with loud pipes, I’m good with this. I’ve never heard a street car that approached the db volume that arse hat choppers driving by open dining restaurants fart out.

I don’t see much of a price overlap between the 3 and S ($62K vs $76K). There is much more of a price overlap between the BMW 3 and 5 than you see with Tesla. Based on personal observation, in the PNW the overwhelming majority of S and Xs are 75kWh (or 60 with older models), while the Bay Area and LA bought mostly 85-1

Viper or Lotus is the correct answer. With the Viper, you can repair it yourself and it is the right amount of terrifying. With the Lotus, you ‘can’ repair it yourself, but you will cuss out the Brits for their bizarre sense of humour regarding ease of access. The good news is you buy a Lotus for $35k, drive the stink

People get upset with me because I log into FB maybe once a month. It’s to the point where all my social groups just have one person that texts me important dates and times for events and such. I don’t really understand the appeal of FB, I try to get people to move over to Slack or Discord channels if they want to

It’s probably a Saudi order, the Royal Family orders a lot of ‘pink’ cars. The notion of pink being a feminine color is fairly recent, around 50s in the US and beginning in the 20s in Europe. The association of color and sexuality has largely been driven by fashion in 20th century, while in 19th century it was art and
