True, the officers involved likely felt they were investigating a felony crime. That does not make their belief that a felony crime has occurred reasonable.

An officer yelling at someone to exit the car is not automatically a lawful order. It must be reasonable based on the totality of the circumstances.  It becomes a detention as soon as one is told to step out of the vehicle. The detention must be justified.
