I think it’s an F-150 nose and a expy rear end. They’re likely testing running gear / interior stuff.

Luxury trucks did work, and are here.

I don’t even think it was the officers who should have been expected to deescalate depending on the situation. In tight quarters (house), if the individual had planned to attack the officers as soon as they arrived there were no options available.

If you even have a plate. Most officers are still running level II vests without plates. They’re more comfortable, lighter, and cheaper for departments to purchase.

I definitely agree with you.

If they had a shield available, or the suspect was standing with the knife there are definitely options open, but as soon as the lunge with knife occurred, options become very limited.

Eh, I’d rather have a Ranger sized, F150 looking, 2.3 or 2.7 EcoBoost powered 4x4.

That’s a great point.

I’d love to see a stopping comparison too.

Being a Honda, there’s no way it’s going to match the luxury of the halo trucks from any of the US brands.

This thing would fly with a pentastar.

And Aerostar lovers are still willing to pay well for them just as parts vans.
