I worked there in 2014 on 2.0 and 3.0. Lots of good people at the Avalanche studio. Super sad to hear this, as I have friends from graduate school who were there until today. :(

I haven't even gone in there. I have been enjoying the co-op missions, it seems silly to have a place unrestricted by level, why go in if you aren't maxed out? Then again, what is the point if you are already maxed out?

There needs to be additional brackets for 200+, or maybe just 210+. 161+ is bullshit. The gear difference between a 161 and 170+ is huge , much less 200+.

I figured people would do that when I was watching beta streams. Sad to see Ubisoft did nothing about it.

There definitely needs to be another tier for the super geared...dumping us all into the 161+ was seriously stupid. I feel like I can and DO hold my own against people of similar GS and DZ level, those fights are actually fun. But seriously, if you’re camping DZ01 with GS 220/DZ99, you’re just an asshole. It's not the happy fun zone, it's the dark zone for a reason. I'm guessing this is a total social experiment monitored by the government to help determine what society will do in the face of an actual real world event.

ANY game that forces PVP participation for PVE rewards and progression is a failure in my books. I don’t want to mess with other people or fuck around against overpowered assholes or lose an hour’s farming to someone I can’t even damage. Fuck. That.

Agree with the last part ha...I went into the dark zone with 2 more friends and we were ganked by rogues who killed us just as soon as we noticed them. We went back out and were killed just as quickly. Not fun at all. Thats when we said,”ok that’s good for today...signing off”. Ha!
