That one never had any hype. It came and went at the theater unnoticed, then became beloved by almost everyone after it started playing constantly on cable.

I was going to post some nit-picky response like "Titanic taught me that boats can't withstand those kind of forces, yada yada".
Agreed. Cheapens it if you ask me.
That's a beautiful watch though, and Ball Engineering makes quality timepieces. I would love to have that thing.
I have totally noticed this phenomenon! I used to look up tickets at work, then book them from home to avoid this, good to know all I had to do was disable cookies to avoid these shenanigans.
I live in a state with no sales tax. Yay me!
Have you read "the drunkard's walk"? Really entertaining treatise on how human brains really don't understand statistics.
Not necessarily, is gravity still affecting the device as it moves through time? If it is has to move "through" time meaning it actually exists in each second of time as it travels, then gravity will keep the device rooted to the ground. If the device were to "skip to" a moment in time then I guess you would end up in…
I actually like "Bill and Ted 2", where they receive the benefits of time travel ability first, and then make the resolution to travel in time and make the things they need to happen, happen.
It's called COPD. And people die of it all the time. It doesn't kill you acutely, you gasp like a fish out of water for the last several years of your life (even with supplemental oxygen for some people) and you live in perpetual catecholamine excess state. I've never met a COPD patient that didn't have a terrible…
I bought a nearly new (11k miles) 4-banger 94 Wrangler for $12,000, with full steel doors/hardtop. I had it for a couple of years prior to the military, 4 years of military service, 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school and 4 years of residency. Rarely had a problem with it that wasn't easily fixed.
You say wagon, I say shooting brake.
Jeep. Wrangler.
Yeah, I've known this since....well, as far back as I can remember.
For me, it was the "new" Twilight Zone series episode where the little boy is alone in the house at dusk when his grandmother dies. Based on a Stephen King short story. Seriously terrified me.
Nice.
I have that watch. Good little knockaround timepiece.
Ain't nothing wrong with that.
Wait, was that Bryan Cranston?
Nope. I still think this is a great movie. WTF third act and all.
