It’s in my home town!!
It’s in my home town!!
I was at a family gathering celebrating my newly born cousin, and as a single twenty-something woman was required to hold him for a fair amount of time (everyone wants me to settle down and assumes that making me take care of children will push me there). His older brother (2 years) was there also, and we had been…
Beyoncé didn’t spend $312,00 on diamond-encrusted shoes.
The second he got elected to his second term he started running for president instead of governing the state- so all of his policies have been moronic attention grabs that have only served to run Louisiana into the ground.
Really? I don’t use the computer version much but I like the way they let you remove things from the queue by clicking a check- like you’re marking it off a list.
As it should be! I work as a teacher and I had to get a job outside the district where I live because all the schools in district are charters and expect you to work 90 hours a week minimum– they have sick days, but are strongly discouraged from taking them. People got mochas expecting a frappucino thing from Starbucks and then got upset when they were actual coffee drinks.
I assumed it was special treat Friday (Mine is stopping at the diner near the school where I teach and picking up a hot breakfast on the way work. It’s unsurprising my students think i’m much nicer on Fridays)
I have a friend who insists he hates garlic, but eats it in a ton of food. Figured out he only likes roasted garlic and didn’t know the difference.
Starbucks has RUINED coffee shop customers. I worked at an independent place in my hometown one summer and every time someone ordered a mocha we had to explain that it was different than Starbucks and then explain how we made it and make sure that’s what they wanted and 9/10 they ordered it and then brought it back…
That’s where it went from “What a douche” to “NOPENOPENOPE GET OUT RUN THIS IS NOT A DRILL.”
He just seems so down-to-earth and pleasant. And also like he really doesn’t take himself too seriously at all.
