Yeah we have to find/order a little UV protection vest/jacket thingy before we leave. Poor guy.
I cannot express how much I love Autocrat Stout
I was bummed to see the car banged up at the end of the 2nd pass when we came through (#900) Loved hearing it launch ahead of us!
This very Astro is the current tow rig for a former Jalopnik story subject: https://jalopnik.com/rally-team-undeterred-by-minor-issue-of-their-entire-tr-1783728808
I mean the blues still have perron/maroon so Ithink they’ll be fine in that department.
Wait, is protesting a nuclear power station supposed to be a positive thing in your argument?
I’ve been watching it with my girlfriend who is a radiation safety officer at a nuclear power plant. Sometimes I could do without the gory science details she gives me during some scenes.
Toilet corn on the cob huh. Sounds like The Legend of Corncob Boy grows.
yeah they are RWD, so 20mm pushed out. The fenders on this car have been rolled before though so they fit perfectly.
This thing being put back together and done.
I’m genuinely curious how your club runs actually. Do you take a run then to pop out to a worker location for 20 minutes then back for a run? (for context we operate with 2 run groups of even-ish numbers of drivers. group 1 runs for 1-2 hours then we switch.)
20 minutes? Where is this magical place you compete?
‘96 Wagon. Unfortunately an automatic, but fortunately I bought it with all the parts to do the manual swap!
Small holes like that on our rally car i clean up and squirt windshield sealant into. Be the monster you want to see in the world.
But can we talk about how putting a tow strap around a tow-ball is a great way to blast someone’s head off when it snaps?
Does anybody know what those wheels are? We need them for our mk2 rally car :O
We were right behind them in the running order at NEFR, it was such a cool rally “car” and I was so bummed when we came around a corner to see them rolled on their side :(
Office desktop is a photo of my other office.
My downhill bike is semi-niche (local New England brand, but licensed frame design from a larger, but not big, Canadian brand) It’s a terrific bike, taken it all over to ride, but finding parts (dropouts, bearings, linkages) when shit breaks is a nightmare. I spent a month trying to find a replacement dropout last…
