Many times a cover is placed over the grille to stop excess cold air flow and snow/ice getting in - stopping/slowing the fan so it doesn't fight against reduced air flow would reduce strain and free up electricity for the charging system while the vehicle is operating at slow speeds.

Those turned off non-essentials would be the engine fan and trans shifting as it locks the auto in overdrive. Nice to see this finally come to the F-150 - not sure how 'first pickup' fits, tho, sorry. Maybe it means first 1/2 ton?

I know that the Countryman isn't bad to drive. I know that it's small for its class, shorter even than a VW Golf. But that can't stop my brain from hurting every time I see the MINI badge on this bulky crossover. The two-door Paceman drives bad and, as far as I can tell, has no reason to exist.
