Jason - live in Japan…years….long enough to be accepted into the culture (not fully, of course), but well enough to let go of your culture and pre-conceptions, so that you can better understand the Japanese culture in the hope that these types of blind-eye posts aren't so driven.

Yet another example why I stopped joining car and motorcycle clubs decades ago. Someone always let's their ego rule and there is always a good ol' boys faction at the core, pulling levers for their interests while the club body get's taken advantage of.
