Can we talk about the threesome? Why only show the kiss in the kitchen? Is this gonna come back to bite Francis in the butt in S3? Are we gonna have a dead bodyguard real soon?

Was the fan base primarily teen age girls going multiple times to see di Caprio or grown women?

I don't think every woman is being coerced and dragged to all the movies they see. Obviously, we have a choice. I mean, let's not get completely literal here.

I am more interested in how you get your skin to look so matte and clear?

Twilight and other young adult/teen movies are different. In addition to seeing a movie multiple times, studies show that that demographic will also buy related merchandise. It's a good formula to duplicate.

Maybe the key difference is TV is viewed from home but it takes extra effort to go to the movies? Plus network TV is free and even cable is relatively cheaper than a $15 movie. So in terms of priority on how to spend free time and ease, perhaps this is the reason?

That's why at a certain point, it comes down to dumb luck. For the most part, every one of them are dedicated and equally skilled more or less . I know they say muscle memory and such. But you can't duplicate the exact scenario every time. One camera flash, a sound, anything can throw off a performance. Which is

This is an aside from the main topic.

Few things aren't black and white. And many things are intertwined. If you don't accept that, then you aren't looking at the whole picture. Naturally, reach and access has a large part to do with choice. Not just about movies, but food, education - everything.

I believe you to be right. Which is why as a marketer, if I know I can get both parties to see a certain type of movie and likely only 1 party to see the other kind, I would concentrate my efforts on the former. It's all about the Benjamins.

I don't want to blame women movie goers. I think because you think I am blaming women, you have taken the stance of finding tits on an ant WRT my proposed assessment.

Here's my response:

Yes! It's true, I am basing my proposed idea of "why" based on my very own assessment. Which is why I used the term PROPOSE, not this is fact or based on my data research.

Based on her "Im an intelligent person and married to an intelligent person' comment, I wasn't sure she understood the editorial "you" because she seemed to be taking everything personally. I'd love to address questions and otherwise engage in lively debates. But can't do so if I feel like the person I am in a

Have you heard of the editorial you?

Thank YOU! I was already cracking up about the other poster saying if we went in DRONES, it would be dangerous and we would end up crashing.......

I don't think male centric movies = shitty movies either. I'm saying that by going to a shitty and male centric movie not because you want to, but because your male date wanted to, is by default supporting those types of movie. If there any women who love The Expendables franchise, by all means, go watch them.

Do you have a Costco? I buy most of my movie tickets from them. Comes out to $7.50 each for a adult ticket. You have to buy two vouchers for $15.00. But there are no restrictions to what movie you see as long as it's an AMC or Cinemark Theatre and they don't expire.

You should not have boycotted Gravity. However, if you are female and in the band wagon of complaining that there aren't many good or enough, strong female roles in film, then stop going to movies like The Expendables (some one likes that shit, because there are 3 of them!) even if your male date wants to. Because

I did not "put all the weight on women consumers." I am simply asking the question, "IF we go see a movie not of our choosing, (for the sake of our male date or children) are we unwittingly supporting the very type of movies we are opposing?" It's a valid question and I would be curious to see what the landscape
