Except many companies don’t prioritize profit at all

Only after the recent stock market issues did my company start to shift priorities from growth/revenue to being profitable. Instead many companies these days look to be high growth companies to either:

1. Try and get another company to buy them out so the founders

Considering that Tolkien himself called the Second Age the “Dark Ages of Middle-Earth” AND He himself didn’t write too much set in the Second Age, they have to work with what they have and adapt/base it off those texts (or what they are allowed to use) and fill in the rest. Aside from key events, very little is known

It works really well and you can use it for GamePass, Stadia, or GeForceNow streaming. Simply follow the instructions from Microsoft and replace the URL they give you with whichever streaming service you prefer

You can install the Flatpak version from the “Discover” app in desktop mode, but that doesn’t replace the old one installed into the immutable part of the system. Despite what the author says, unless you are really really trying to install something out of the box, you won’t be adding any special “repositories” on

This could be solved by simply going back to the old self-hosted multiplayer model. Many older games are still running online as they can still run their own servers.

My issue with it is less tied to money than to the way countries like China and Russia may try to use that data to imprison someone away from their home nation for something they did/said IN their home nation.

Ah well then good thing most Christians aren’t hypocrits who act in the opposite of what they preach!

That’s not how that works. It’s not “if they both were abusive”, the questions to be answered were:

Eh, that doesn’t say much. If you look at the fact that he is a Christian (as am I), our faith is very focused on not alienating anyone based on their actions and the idea that all people are redeemable.

From what I understand, that’s not how it works. The Jury found that Heard’s claim against Depp was true in one count and found that Depp’s claims against Heard were true as well. Depp won bigger because his damages were bigger. I’m not a lawyer, but I did watch several lawyers, whom I’d assume know what they are

Are there no local used game stores in your city? I live in Omaha, NE - hardly a huge metropolis by US standards, and we have several locally owned used game stores. Lincoln, the city in the story, about about 1/4 the size of the Omaha metro and it also has several local stores

My guess was that Reva went out of the tunnel and directly to the port  to find the exit rather than following in the tunnel

They/Them has always had both singular and plural uses, it’s just more common in the my lifetime to use the words in a plural sense.

From what I read, the tricky part to the Most Favored Nation clauses is that it is illegal for two stores to enter into a MFN with each other, but since this is between the “seller”(Dev/publisher) and the “buyer”(Valve, GOG, etc) and that has little legal definition, but is generally allowed since it doesn’t impact

Specifically, Gamer Nexus called out online headlines taking their poor battery ratings and ignoring that they had maxxed out the settings in those scenarios. The Steam Deck has options for saving battery, one being to force limit the FPS to 30 (which is fine for the resolution). If players don’t want lower resolution

Could the Icy climb be a flashback to Galadriel’s crossing of the Helcarax to get back to Middle-Earth from Valinor shortly before the start of the First Age?

He doesn’t forget per se, but he was essentially removed to a place where time doesn’t exist and so the entire concept had become foreign to him. Being sent back as a completely changed being into a world bound by the limits of the physical universe is probably more an answer to that than anything else.

In the case of

Are they conflating it or just having a majority of the show take place in the latter half of the Second Age. Also, how old was Isildur when Numenor was destroyed? Being a Numenorian, he could be anywhere between 20 years old and 200 years old (I don’t remember avg Numenorian lifespan, just remember that Elros lived

I have a hard time believing Sauron or the Blue Istari are amnesiacs here. They are Maia, not mortals. When they “die” they don’t die like elves, humans, dwarves, hobbits, orcs, etc. They are supernatural beings akin to Judeo Christian Angels than to any race. They can take whatever appearance they want in most

The bug gives them the ability to arbitrarily execute code on your system. This could be as your user, or if the vulnerability gives the malicious actor access to the code running in memory, direct access to the memory space that Dark Souls is running in.
