I don’t think it’s false equivalency. Game Consoles are different as they are Entertainment focused electronics with the explicit purpose of running games and streaming music/video.

They are claiming Apple has a monopoly on Software distribution on Apple hardware. I’m honestly not sure how that argument will play out in the long term, but if either the Apple or Google case were to be a win for Epic, it would be Apple due to the level of control they have on their users.

The key difference between the two is that you can’t install anything on iOS without Apple’s App Store. You don’t have any such restriction on PC.
