There’s also more crossover between the two than you’d expect. I’ve seen plenty of Elements, xB’s, and heck even Nissan Cube’s used as commercial vehicles. They’re cheap boxes that can fit a lot.

Honda Element was awesome. Especially with Kids. I miss ours. The cargo it would take relative to its size was amazing.

The utility of a minivan without any of the visual stigma, plus an efficient hybrid drivetrain. Not a bad idea.

One of the few joys in a cheap econo box is the manual transmission. It transforms something woeful like a Versa CVT (I was forced to do 1200 miles in one) into something actually enjoyable.

All it needs is a decent engine and a decent manual transmission. I say manual because the CVT is fine per CVT standards, but the 5 speed is an abomination with its drunk-esque precision and total lack of clutch feel.
