it's just that the latest companions have all be cute young things (and Craig - whom I love so much!) Donna was a little bit older and while she's really lovely, she's not that Hollywood ideal that Amy and Clara both fit into. She was different, but she was sassy and fearless and kind!
this is probalby why Donna is my favorite companion. Her response to any romantic accusations was always hilarious. I miss Donna Noble. *sigh* I wish they could bring her back.
