doesn't mean kids can't surf through amazon and read snippets of the stories. Besides, making an 18+ literature section would satisfy any legal risks Amazon might feel the books present.

just a comment on your first sentence: free speech is not being curbed. No one is arresting them for writing the books. They're just refusing to sell them. Just like with this whole stupid Phil Robertson thing. His free speech was not affected in any way, there were no legal repercussions for what he said. :)

Amazon has the right to refuse to sell any product it wants. That said, another user put it best when he/she said "censorship is a poor business model." Clearly there's a market for these books, maybe just have an "over 18" section on the web site.
