I’m sorry, but it’s “Made feasible” by the fact that they’re rich-ass tech companies... Sure they might spend slightly less because they have a majority men on staff, but don’t think for a second that the industry that pioneered unlimited, sometimes free vacations (for everyone), free gourmet cafeterias (for…
To be fair.. while you ARE right, they also called it “Highway Robbery” implying that yes, they were stealing it.
and people thought Prius drivers were insufferable? Imagine if Tesla did this!
Completely agree. I was about to write a comment about how the 1080P looked much better in the first video, and then ask why they switched the labels during the second half of the video. My guess is the video on the right was always the 4K down sampled.
You're addressing the only important reason to post this video. As a PSA against exposing children to fedoras.
I feel like you’re being a little hard on them. First of all, it takes a degree of courage as a company to try something new. The public is tired of cool flashy ideas in concept cars and then getting ZERO of that innovation in production. At least Tesla is trying something different. I’m sure someone said this about…
You’re getting ripped off bud. I added a second kitchen with two sets of lights, a dozen outlets, a dishwasher, smoke alarms, a stove and a garbage disposal, plus it required upgrading my service from 100A to 200A with a new circuit box, whole thing cost me less than $2500. I added the 220v outlet (same as you’d need…
Yea my guess would be Supercharging will be a $2000 add on. It comes for free on Model S and X, but at 35K, they’ll be adding on as much as they can.
I mean, a 35K Audi or VW doesn't feel cheap.. It'll definitely be cheaper than the X, but they've got a decent design team so it should at least look good.
I was about to call BS on this post..but apparently you’re right. I had no idea they were making so much money on each car. http://www.fool.com/investing/gene…

If your headline had read “Law suit broils over former Tesla Falcon Wing supplier” instead of making me think Tesla was being sued by owners for faulty doors, I probably wouldn't have read the article. I guess that's the point though.
Musk said “I may be being optimistic” when he said it...and if HE thinks it’s optimistic....Multiply the timeline by 4.
Electric burns are painful.
Indeed, except the car will probably be more attentive to other drivers than we are WHILE we’re sleeping. :)
I think its age based. I don’t know how old you are, but I used to drive to Chicago from Minneapolis all the time without stopping, until I past 25, then I started to want to stop more often either for bathroom or usually just to get off my ass and stretch/get a hot meal... I usually don’t stop for more than 20-30…
Yea, at 5000 miles its hard to justify making Any efficiency related changes. I don’t think your assumptions are right on the money... the Model X for example is an expensive luxury SUV and it costs 80K for 250 miles...but yes, that means that with todays tech, a 200 mile Explorer would probably cost around 60-70K.…
I like you.
I think the point of his comment was specifically to make gas more expensive, thus pushing us more towards the electric future we all know we’re eventually going to get to anyway.
