The video didn't really reveal HOW they did it...

If you already own the Bentley, I'm not sure you would be all that interested in owning half a mustang....

Good god those are brutal landings! It doesn't look like there is any way to hit that jump and land more than 1 wheel at a time. Absolutely brutal! We are talking more than suspension damage on a landing like that; I'm thinking frame damage!

This is great!

But the point is that yes, he did sully his own name back in the day, so old school folks will disapprove of his products regardless of quality. Those just now entering the auto scene have no idea why Hennessey is a bad name, and on all appearances make great products. SO maybe his reputation is better now, as

Batbike

I didn't get into auto culture until after all the Hennessey controversy, so I feel like I'm pretty unbiased against him. From what I can tell, the company makes a quality product with decent warranties. Seems like the only folks who are really anti-hennessey are people biased by his earlier business tactics and

wow, what a weird point to make.

One of the guys was yelling at her "your gonna get it too"

Stopped reading when you said "was still into street racing and we locked down a rural road." That right there is messed up. Street racing kills people, usually innocent commuters.

A million times YES!

Yeah, I agree, and I totally get it (I too have owned Jeeps). I guess I am just getting practical in my older age, haha. That said, there are plenty of aftermarket upgrades to obtain locking diffs, sway bars, etc. to just about any SUV and truck. Jeep just happens to option those things off the lot, and has a HUGE

It's cool, definitely for collectors, but all I can think is if you want a truck just buy a truck. For 25k you could get a regular cab short bed Ram with a 5.7l hemi, then spend maybe 5k on suspension and tires and other off-road accessories. Then you would have a comparable wheelbase with plenty of power.

Definitely an awesome truck, but my first impression keeps coming back to me, which is that is a really long wheelbase for a wrangler! Don't get me wrong, a long wheelbase can have its advantages off-roading. I've seen plenty of scenarios where a jeep just can't get up a steep obstacle, but a tacoma has no problem

Nah, these are pretty nice cars and they work well for their purpose. If I didn't work in the petroleum industry, I'm pretty sure I would pick one of these up.

These are so awesome. Bring back the El Camino!!

Ah, must need some more morning coffee... I even read it twice because I was sure it must be in there, and still missed it. Sorry about that :)

Probably worth mentioning that the decreased residential emissions is primarily because of a switch from coal to natural gas, in addition to warmer temps.

haha, well, according to another poster in this thread the F-150 should have a telescoping steering wheel. He didn't think his did it either, until he accidentally made it happen. Apparently you just have to push really hard the first few times. So, I will have to try again, with my tail between my legs :)

No shit?? That's awesome, I guess I'll have to double check....
