Absolutely gorgeous trucks, and great on trails (minus the really weak ball joints, we always carried 3 or 4 spares when rock crawling).

Which is a small oil company given industry standards....
Energy companies aren't idiots. They know that ev's and hybrids will dominate the market by 2040 (see Shell's report on future energy circa 2012). It would be self defeating to play dumb.

Neutral: Hydrogen? That's a lot of work to build out an infrastructure when, as Tesla is showing, it's much easier to build up on the electric grid or build an electric grid of your own.
Somehow the two of them together just.... so much more.... yeah. This made my day.
It pains me that I had to sell my fixed gear for fear of labels. That thing was great for getting your quads in shape and improving your cadence. But alas, hipsters.
Volvo 240 wagon and an old ass diesel Mercedes E class.
My favorite suggestions? Vintage Postwar trucks. Damn I love a good truck.
Maybe it's the capitalist in my blood, but I gotta hand it to these VCA guys for identifying a market and figuring out how to make a living doing what they love...
Wow, a small penis joke on Jalopnik? Enjoy your Prius.
wow, a Simpsons reference I don't get.... Well done, sir!
Seriously? What's with the personal attacks? I can only interpret what you say. I don't know you, so how am I to know your "advanced thinking" skills and personal views on corporate structure. Spew talking points and call it "advanced thinking" all you want (great back-door compliment btw), this post has been about…
Well then call me a corporate monkey, because I don't take the stance that "corporation" is a bad word.
haha, that's an interesting perspective.
Hold on now, it's a lot easier to cleanup at the surface, which is why the dispersants are such a bad idea, and the use of them was heavily criticized. I really think you are focusing too much on the idea that everything was done to cover up and hide reality from the public.
I call BS on that! I agree that the dispersants caused more environmental damage than the oil, no question. But they were not used to cover up the severity of the leak. They were used following standard cleanup protocol. Go ahead and try to vilify BP, but the federal government regulates cleanup procedures.
Holy crap this was spot on! Thanks for making my day :)
I agree that people who argue they need it aren't fooling anyone. That's why I always be sure to clarify that I in no way, shape or form need my F-150 Crew Cab. But god, do I ever love it :)
Meh, just takes practice. I am also not an asshat, so I usually adjust my park job a couple times to make sure I am in the lines and not blocking anyone. I don't want to come off as unethical, afterall :)
