@seanmike: No, I'm not one of those types, although one of my coworkers is. I take off the cans during the announcements, and always turn off my electronics.

I usually fly two or three times a month for business. Two things I wouldn't dream of flying without - Bose noise canceling over the ear headphones, and my iPad.
