I'll check it out, I do love the Kurosawa classic.
Cool, Falskaar!
Building failure or death into the narrative is always pretty cool, and something more studios should do.. Being able to fail, and still progress is pretty cool. Especially if it alters the path, something like Heavy Rain's deaths.
This is basically what the Neverwinter MMO should've been.. more old school DnD feel, with no quest log and no big arrow saying go here bro!
Most games are mashable to mastery.. it's nothing new.. so why get upset about that? look at most adventure-type melee games.. it's mashable.. god of war, fable, yakuza those are just at the top of my head.
That's pretty sweet!
Love the fathers comment on this.
Neat list.
RDR would've probably made a pretty good TV series. 1-2 seasons. but as a game? neeh.. not so much.
Yeah, you're not really missing anything, the game pretty much ups and dies as soon as the Jose Gonzales song stops and you're standing in mexico.
I most be looking at games in a very different light, since I've just seen a constant decline the last 4-5 years, with only the odd title making a grasp to try and get out of the sinkhole, and this year? can't seem to recount any particular gem.. sure I havn't tried last of us yet, but..meh.. it feels like it's just…
doesn't look very Stallion-y, but then again.. hence the name, I guess. haha.
I'm in the same boat, just can't keep playing, it's just to dull.
I don't think he's saying stop gaming. From where I'm sitting it sounds more like he wants his students to start living their lives, instead of living through videogames.
I don't get why they're ditching the whole thing.. I mean they could still keep this family thing and the DRM for their digital library couldn't they?
...?
haha, was there a flash of the "All your base are belong to us" scene? awesome.
Thrones.. well I've been catching up these last weeks, and after the horrendous s2, my hopes for s3 was kind of low..
Well yeah, and I doubt most people actually care.. but it just feels kinda weird/crappy that they seem to kinda assume, that we don't give a crap.. you know? ;D
