People complain and complain that games are too "handholdy" and that we're thrown into long tutorials to explain everything about games... and when one game is release that doesn't seem to hold your hand very long... it get bashed for.. Not.. holding our hands?

Soo... anyone else bought Arcanum simply from watching this?... I did.. haha.

3rd person co-op shooter? right?

That isn't a bad thing.

Haha.. Yeah =)

Something I'd love to see more of in story heavy games is the ability to fail, and say no.

The tech isn't perfect no.. but other games do it better? are you serious?

I fail to see the total conversion, when they're still using the same assets.

Sigh.. god damn PC bs... i really hope he/they don't change anything about tiny, because she's easily one of the best characters.

someone beat me too it. :/

I think it depends on what you want out of it.

So if you do a perfect parry, the character dodges a bit?

That's the problem with art in games. Since time = money, there really isn't time to develop artistry within games. Which is why it is a business and not an art form.

Yeah, I didn't mean art as in art department/game art etc, I meant Art as in Art. Stuff for the art world and museums etc. Can't really explain it better.. English needs more words to differentiate this stuff =)

Well the difference is art.

Daunting task listing the FF's. Everyone has their own opinion and I'm pretty sure most will pick their first FF as their favorite.

So it was all in the timing? sounds like a good thing.

I mentioned the parry function.

They have actually released a version on the 360. However, it's limited to japan, which was a very big mistake since xbox isn't popular in japan, and I believe it's also a monthly subscription to play it. Which is also a mistake.

It seemed like a decent game, with a nice gimmick.. but it's crappy controls and lack of a dodge just made it unnecessarily frustrating.
