Right.
Right.
I don't mind a challenge, I mostly seek it out.
I do agree that this aspect of the game, was the reason why I kept playing for as long as I did.. but the further I got the less likely it seemed that my character would actually start to evolve.
also the fact that when you setup the AI tactics just right, fenris, bela and that knight woman.. grr forget the name.. could basically take care of most of the game themselves. even on harder difficulties.. when I played through da2 on my mage, most of the time half of the enemies were dead before my mage started…
it's not the difficulty that I found annoying.. I actually enjoyed that quite abit.. i remember working out a tactic to clear that one big rebel camp thingy in the swamp.. very satisfying to come out triumphant.
ah crap.. can I take my download back? :/ dangit
I'm confused why the first witcher was such and acclaimed game in the RPG realm.. I call myself an avid RPG player.. and I've forced myself to try and get through the game twice now.. and I can't seem to get past the 2nd.. or is it 3rd act.. it's when you get to the 2nd part of the city anyway.
Maybe... :'(
@TheRealDoshu: Maybe, but I think it'll be awhile.. just look at any big gaming franchise right now.. they're all re-making the core idea of their game, to make it more accessible for everyone.. but the core fans will still buy their stuff because they're hooked.. It's just like star wars fans will buy/watch pretty…
@Paramour: I think they mentioned it in the article.. a normal layered Blu-ray disc is actually 25GB.
If the console doesn't support Dx11 and tessellation.. then why are they even making it? it's like they're 5-6yrs behind already and they make an old console.. thinking it's new and fresh? I'm very surprised about these news.. since I was hoping this new console would actually be a new console.. not some machine…
@GanymedeJupiter: Mostly yeah.. there's not the same amount of game breaking stuff in there anymore.. thought I'd still stay completely clear of the reputation armors. apart from that thought, I havn't run in to anything else.
@DocSeuss: I agree with you, though I personally think that F3 was the better game.
@Adhominem: I kinda like buying all the DLCs one by one.. since for every F3 DLC, I went back and made a new character.. played him a bit differently and just had fun.. I kinda liked how ever DLC felt like buying a whole game again, and again.
@Sir Beefychu: Only issues I've come into contact with has all been when using the reputation armors.. so long as I've stayed away from using them, then the game as run smoothly. on xbox n PC.
@IcoSotc: should check out chaos theory aswell, thought he did a good job with that aswell.
I don't enjoy watching trailers or seeing anything about movies before I go, but from images and stuff on kotaku, the movie feels like it'll be closer to the first Hellboy movie. Probably a good watch, but dunno if it'll move a mountain.
@mordicai: I don't think it's the number that would dishearten a "normal" movie goer... I think it's more in the presentation of things. If the thing feels to.. hmm fan oriented, then It'll lose those that just want to watch a movie. When the thing goes into "nerd mode" then a lot of the actual appeal might go away.
Well I don't play tf2.. mainly because of the healer.. personally I think it ruins the idea of a shooter, when there's this random dude magically generating everyone on the battlefield. I can take revive stuff, but actual healing.. no.. just no. keep that to RPGs.
@DjMystix: Probably why people want a remake, that would improve upon these things, and make it playable?
