It is a schlocky film with great visuals. The humor, the acting, the writing, and even the fight choreography is all schlocky though.

I don't know. I agree with her, and it's cool that she's bringing attention to it. I'm not so concerned though (maybe because I'm a guy). It just seems that gaming is a FUBU kind of ordeal, and capitalism and the target audience reinforces it. The ratio of power fantasies targeted towards men vs the other way

latter 80s and 90s for me. maybe it's nostalgia, but it looks like it had the best balance of a handcrafted look, detail, and style.

This is good news.

DC had a better GFX card, but the PS2 didn't even use its own in any conventional way. It was a weak card intended to work in tandem with the Emotion Engine. On that note, the PS2 had a far better CPU. It still didn't make up for some of the innate weaknesses of the GPU, so you had 4-bit color palettes and

You make a good point and I was thinking this too. But I'm going to give Fahey the benefit of the doubt. The Wii's gimmicks were fairly superficial and a little wonky. He seemed a bit concerned with the graphics.

I think when Fahey plays a game where you're interacting in an environment in a way that you simply

The Penny Arcade one made me laugh.

I got so much stuff. $300+

The most expensive were Skyrim Legendary, Resident Evil 6, Borderlands DLC, and Tomb Raider. Tomb Raider is especially impressive. It reminds me of Resident Evil 4 in the the pacing department. I'm getting residual mental echos as I play through it. Resident Evil 6 is the stupidest game

Everyone says this every Steam sale.

Nearing 200.

The monsters weren't very inspired, but if it was supposed to be magnificently big-budgeted B movie, then it does its job well.

I don't get the buzz concerning this movie. I was so excited to see it. It had really bad writing. Like, Syfy channel bad. Maybe that was on purpose, but I couldn't tell by the end of the movie. There were so many tropes, it was staggering. It seemed like some concepts that were just thrown in there were

It may not be a competitive fighting game when played vanilla, but it is a fighting game. You competitively beat the snot out of other characters with physical, martial violence. Anyway, who are you to make silly stipulations?

The Trinity Killer was my second least favorite season, next to the Doomsday Killers. Season 5 and 7 were awesome.

Interestingly, I couldn't stand Fallout's in comparison. I have a friend who feels the same way. Maybe it's a "what you get to know first" ordeal. Arcanum felt smoother, faster, and made more sense to me in all respects. I love all of these games though. They don't make them like they used to. =[

Arcanum's one of my top 5 favorite RPGs. It doesn't get much better than that game in terms of dialogue, quests, and exploration.

Not disappointing, because I didn't expect it to be remarkable. Surprising however, because it actually managed to be bad enough for me to quit playing. I have a high tolerance for garbage.

Bloodlines is one of the best WRPGs created. It's better than both [good] Deus Ex games.

Wrong. It's a much bigger gap than before, mainly because it's a difference in similar architecture. PS3 has more 25% ram, much faster ram at that, and a definitively more powerful GPU - about 50% better.
