Good stuff, Owen. Smart angle, but useful at the same time. Well done.

Sorry guys, I have to get going - I have some important work to do now! It was fun :)

1) It just feels natural and is in-line with who I am and who we are as a studio. I don't know how important it is, but what we do feels natural to us.

When I was a kid, the father of a good friend of mine used to make up names for us by twisting our real names. My name is "Randall" so he used to call me "Randuvaleedo." The nick-name "Duv" (pronounced "doove") and "Duval" just sort of stuck as a nickname for me around the neighborhood. I still have friends who

Oh... I don't know how I feel about that. I don't know how Michael would've felt about that. He's not ours - he was a person and he's not with us anymore. I would want us to be very careful about his memory and legacy. I think his appearance in Borderlands 2 is really special and appropriate.

Yup - we're fixing the bug and might punish cheaters.

Mechromancer is separate from the Season Pass big campaign DLC. If you missed the pre-order incentives, there will be a path to the mechromancer as DLC, but I'm afraid it will not be free.

I've been on the record making it clear that we did not acquire Duke Nukem simply to see DNF shipped. Rather, we want to make something great with the character and franchise.

We like crafted environments from the first person perspective.

Good note. I'll throw that one on the table.

Good note. There will be updates.

The materials in Borderlands 2 are all hand painted. It actually *really* upsets the artists at Gearbox when people call the game "cell shaded" because cell shading is something completely different than what they are doing. To a lot of muggles, "cell shading" has come to mean "non-realism" but in fact refers to a

We'll see about Wii U. I like the platform. Aliens Colonial Marines is the only game we've announced for it.

We're putting everything we've got into Aliens Colonial Marines. Once we've finished, we'll think about the future.

I wish. Tell Sony what you want and hopefully that will be a future revision.

We were going for this idea that the regular weapons were sort of "corrupted" by the Eridian stuff. Confusion sucks, though, so there are lessons there. System memory is also a bitch when you have a fixed memory platform and a gazillion weapons in your game ;)

The UI will become second nature for you, but I hear you. We're learning lessons with each effort. Generally, we think the UI is better in Borderlands 2 than in Borderlands 1, but the sum of lessons from both games will make us even stronger moving forward.

I love the process - very stimulating. Consensus and debate are really fun processes.

Yes. My favorites are the Half-Life stuff we did (especially OpFor CTF), Halo for PC on-line, Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30 and Borderlands. I really enjoyed DNF - played it through several times even after we shipped. I liked the competitive modes in our 007 game and thought that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 was

We're always open. Please tell Fantasy Flight about us - we love their games and I can imagine doing a license and trusting them to knock something out of the park with us.
