This game should be sufficiently awful

Only excited to watch it crash and burn

Right though? I can’t believe how cheap this is.

Dunno about you folks, but the loot mechanics look great. Looting has always been one of the least satisfying feelings in AC to me. It looks like opening chests is finally polished.

Good

Is there still a chance of a PS Pro price drop?

You’re wrong

“Anyway, I’m glad he didn’t rape your friend” Yea, 2017 for you folks.

I see the 26-year old female and immediately have to wonder if he felt “spurned” or something stupid like that. Hard to make sense of these things anymore.

I got so fucking lost trying to follow this out of control thought freight train.

I’m never going to stop being flustered about ME:A. Really gives No Man’s Sky a run for its money for biggest let down of all time.

Really? I felt it resolved nothing and just left the Hyperion....LYING there with no follow-up quests or closure. I wanted some explanation for the Scourge, the Kett, the benefactor etc. And the “boss fight” and combat leading up to it was more of the same recycled content you encountered several times before. Yea, we just elected one as president.

Yes, this. Content that feels like grinding is one thing but the last few missions felt like actual on the job work.

lol ok cool

It’s not hyperbole, and needless restraint has no place in “reasonable discourse” (lol) either. The entire studio and any future plans were shuttered as a result of an objectively bad game. I had fun, but I started giving the game 7, maybe 8/10. By the midway, I was struggling to justify a 6. After finishing and

Right?? The side-quests (of which I did each of the ones with persistent quest markers) were incredibly unbalanced and ranged from the slightly interesting to the most basic fetch quest fodder. Knowing they came together in <1.5 years of dev makes sense.

I felt the end was so hollow! I actually enjoyed the beginning because it was starting to make me feel lost and like a real alien in another galaxy, but that feeling seemed to disappear into thin air after a while. I felt some of the last tasks around Meridian, including leaving and then coming back to the station,

Great article, ME:A sure does feel like a game that was created in an 18-month cycle. RIPIP, Mass Effect series. You’re not bouncing back from this one.

Give it some time. The grind through the endgame content was one of the most painful experiences of my gaming life.
