My first CJ was a ‘77 that I acquired in high school, early 80s. After high school, I was moving across the country to Southern Cal. My dad told me that old 77 would never make it. (He was right, on the next inspection, the frame was determined to be rusted through.) So I upgraded when I graduated to a one year old,…
As said by many, go TCL 6 series. Great picture and the best software out there...Roku. Even CNet rates it the best overall TV.
I still don’t understand the argument that because they sell the older style Classic model that those sales of Ram trucks somehow don’t count as Ram truck sales. They are in fact, Ram trucks. In the beginning, everyone criticized them for doing it because it would compete with their “new” model. Guess it was a smart…
lol....math is fun ain’t it?
Damn, that does suck. I wanna picture the cop running up alongside you to have you pull over but I imagine it was a fat bastard that couldn’t run three car lengths.
As George Carlin famously said, “We’re not killing the planet, we’re just killing ourselves. The planet couldn’t care less.”
Holy shit Ford....enough already. It seems like this same prototype was filmed a year ago. Even the Jeep truck took less time to release.
Why bother? With soon to be driverless cars, the whole windshield can be a big movie screen.
I gotta admit, well done gentlemen, well done. Minor quibbles but overall well accepted by the masses according to the comments. I was gonna add the 2009 Dodge Ram as it was the first full-size without leaf springs but ehhhh, minor quibble.
uBlock is awesome.
My question is always the same. Why the F-150? I mean, the group of full-size trucks are really not that different anymore yet the F-150 is always the top seller. I would even understand if the “new” version of whatever brand was number one that particular year. It would make sense since the new one usually has the…
Damn, that’s just 20 minutes north of me.
Why not just make it the whole windshield? Obviously it will be pricey in the beginning but costs will drop.
When I shopped for a truck, the Ford was the most expensive for a like equipped truck between all of them. And that was before any rebates or special financing was included.
Check out a company called Phononic. They have been doing cooling with electronics for some time.
They used those “blankets” when they worried about how far the shrapnel would fly.
I remember learning where the term “Turnpike” came from in grade school. The barrier at the toll-booth was a horizontal swinging pole called a pike, hence, turn-pike.
My father worked on that road as well as the NY Thruway. He did the blasting work. I didn’t see him in the film but he was one of the “powder-men”. I always remember him telling me about all those vertical lines in the large rock faces. Those are the drill marks then he dropped explosives down the holes and blasted…
Of all the stupid brand loyalty, I really don’t understand the Ford numbers. Yes, it is a fine truck but I truly don’t believe it is that much better than the others. That’s something that is selling purely on the hype more than anything.
