I have to say that I really like their depiction in the Dresden Files, where they're nasty and do all sorts of terrible stuff... but as we learn in the most recent book, their existence is... *necessary*. I won't say more than that for fear of spoiling y'all.

Yes, but that's only for one or two potions, not ALL OF THEM, i.e. the Blaze Rods you need from a Nether Fortress in order to make the Brewing Stand, which is needed in order to make any sort of potion. In Terraria, if you want to make a basic health potion, some mushrooms, flowers and sand/glass/bottles is all you

Terraria's combat is a lot more fun, there's a lot more variety in items, weapons, armor, and enemies, and the item progression actually makes sense, i.e. you don't have to go to hell and back in order to be able to make simple potions. Both games have their strengths.

Think more like Bob Page from Deus Ex.

More brutal, yes, but certainly more realistic (what are the odds that anyone else in her situation would ACTUALLY consent under the circumstances, or that Barbarian Lord Drogo would actually care), and in a horrible way, actually LESS icky than the original scene, seeing as book-Daenerys was about 13-ish in that

I can name about 5 for #1 and only 1 for #2. So, zero for me then. Thank frak for that.

Quark ends up pretty much where he started, though he does get some very interesting scenes before the end, particularly in the 7th-season episode "The Siege of AR-558".

Obviously you didn't get more than halfway through the show. Once the Dominion War breaks out, it gets AWESOME. "What's that coming through the wormhole? Why, it's LEGIONS UPON LEGIONS OF WARSHIPS!"

So, it's a Cylon version of the Geth leapers from Mass Effect 1?

I'd submit Planescape Torment as a ridiculously *awesome* amnesia story.

#4 I understand what this means. He's basically describing hate as a drug that you build up a mega-tolerance to over time. Instead of a fiery hatred, as the hate becomes more and more your default state of being, it's just always there so you can't feel it, like air pressure. You don't notice when it's there, but you

Kojima, over here we have an expression: "throwing the baby out with the bathwater". You may wish to look it up sometime.

Fortunately, this is just the trailer music. I trust that the in-series music will be much more appropriate.

Okay, yes, the URL still works, but there's no BUTTON for it, no way I can scan a list of tags that I don't know for what I might want.

So, what do I do if I want to search for, say, all Jamboroo posts like I used to be able to do just by clicking on the Jamboroo button?

...Yeah, they do. We either bitch about the stupid things in the NEW Star Wars stuff, or we don't care anymore. Bitching about the Phantom Menace is old news. Everything that can be said has been said. Beating a dead horse, etc.

People don't seem to get that Harry's descriptions of women is an intentional way of demonstrating his character flaws, as a result of his sexual frustration. Go back and check on his descriptions in any of the books where Harry has a steady girlfriend. Much less detailed. Go and check the descriptions in any of the
