The last time I checked, Jeremy Clarkson was not the executive producer of Top Gear and doesn't have the last say in what goes into every episode. None of the segments were aired live which means they met the approval of someone else after Clarkson said the "derogatory" statements. This is in no way Clarkson's fault…

I think you're mistaken, the 200 rides on the same platform as the midsize Avenger and other Chrysler/Mitsubishi/Jeep vehicles. The new Dart is a product of the Fiat merger and rides on the Fiat compact platform that underpins the Alfa Giulietta.
