The armor on both sides and the mechs were interesting looking, and the base had more interest in it than some FPS games pack in all of their level…

One flaw in your logic; not every publication will review every game. SO a game with more reviewers on a letter-grade system may suffer in comparison to a game with no letter-grade reviews.

Apparently Jason never completed the Terran missions (the first set) in the original SC, in which 1. Raynor's affections for Kerrigan were made clear, and 2. Mengsk was established as a villain. I stopped taking this review seriously when he mentioned Mengsk as being a villain starting in Brood War.
