A mate of mine had an ex police Sierra Estate. It had all Cosworth running gear and a bored out engine. It went like the clappers.
The launcher I use is Nova. The background image/wallpaper is one I saw on a desktop wallpaper site a while ago. The "icons" at the bottom are my own doing using the Simple Text app. The clock is Clockr Evolution.
I always use a darkish wallpaper.

All the options that I've found just seem to make it completely invisible including any apps/folders/files that are open. With one exception where a crop of an image is used as the taskbar background. But that's a pain if changing…
