Given that bankruptcy is almost inevitable, the employees are probably just trying to get their claim in as early as possible for whatever piece of the estate they think they'll be entitled to. I would describe this more as a procedural thing than anything else.
Yup. I sold my Dad's mint, and I mean practically showroom clean, 2002 WRX to a guy. It's impossible to find an old WRX in that condition so they guy paid a premium for it. Still, when he talked about the mods he was planning for it my heart sank a little, thing won't be long for this world.

It wouldn't matter to me if this vehicle turned out to be the fastest car on the track, I still wouldn't care for it. It lacks the aesthetic I've come to appreciate in more traditional, four-wheeled cars. D-.
