This from the guy who compared JLaw's time working on 'The Hunger Games' to slavery (to paraphrase the idiot: "Talk about '12 Years a Slave,' they are working that poor girl to the bone...").

I would love to have kids, if I can ever afford them.

Because no one can afford to have kids.

There's a helpful Twitter account called "Upworthy spoiler" that is entirely someone telling you what Upworthy wants you to watch the video to find out. It's great.

I hate it, too, and the videos are never shocking, amazing, stunning, or whatever other adjective they use. I've watched a few of them and thought, "um, okay," and don't look at them anymore.

>>I especially hate the play-by-play style ("at 2:13 you'll be shocked; at 4:13 you'll be devastated; at 8:12 you'll tell everyone you know").

Literally the reason I "unliked" Upworthy. This is just bad taste.

Yes to everything you listed. I've hidden everyone on Facebook who posts Upworthy links, haha.

I can't stand Upworthy for the exact same reason! I won't click on anything they post, no matter how much I'm dying to know what exactly is so shocking/devastating/ heartwarming. I especially hate the play-by-play style ("at 2:13 you'll be shocked; at 4:13 you'll be devastated; at 8:12 you'll tell everyone you know").

I know this isn't very eloquent but:

Cool story Sarah.

"I am personally so appreciative of the Right to Life activists who planted that pro-life seed in me as a young girl observing their dedicated efforts to protect innocent life."

I want to know any stories anyone might have of aquaintances to believe Weekly World News headlines. I want to hear about these people, so much.

Yeah, It's very Maury Povich. Much hate.

This one isn't much better for as the previous person stated; everything after the semi-colon is useless information as click bait. I actually have the same problem she does regarding these type of headlines and they've gotten worse as of late (in terms of frequency). They do not read professionally nor do they

And Gawker wrote about this yesterday too. I thought the websites communicated with each other and stuff.

Right? This story has no place in the Weekly World News, so why is the headline in that style???

This One Weird Trick Will Get You Clicking On Our Links.

Seriously! These headlines enrage me and they're spreading across the entire internet. I feel like a crazy person for having such strong feelings about these formulaic headlines but they drive me freaking nuts. They're cheap, stupid, and they take away from the content.
