I agree. My husband is still enjoying it, so we have it on every Monday but if it was just me I would have given up. The episodes are rarely funny and they are dragging the wedding out too much. They promised the mother would be a big part but that was a load of crap so it all feels so forced.

Ugh, I know. I basically only watch it because I figure I've made it this far and it's almost over. (Also I'm unemployed and have nothing else to do.) But this episode was particularly terrible.

A British show, Him and Her, recently ended and the final series/season did the same thing - all about a wedding and in real time. However, this consisted of *5* half-hour episodes that each covered a different part - the morning of, everyone arriving right before the ceremony, the ceremony, the speeches at the meal,

Same here. This show and Glee are my guilty hate-watch shows, haha.

That is an apology I can accept. I can't speak for every Asian American but I'm happy it wasn't a "sorry we got caught/sorry you're offended" non apology.

Yah, my household is hate-watching it at this point, just because we've been watching the show for so long.

not to discount how shitty it was, but they did apologize

I saw a bit of that. My reaction was meh.

Exactly. Leaving aside all the rest, it committed the greatest sin of which a sitcom is capable — It was boring and tedious. Easily the worst episode of the season, and there has been some stiff competition for that title.

I think the season motto should just be " Fuck it"

That's how I feel about this whole season. I want to see it through the end, but ack. I cringe through most of the episodes.

This is an entertainment-wide issue, but between this and Two Broke Girls, isn't CBS in enough trouble for their portrayal of Asians as it is? Having Lucy Liu on Elementary doesn't mean you can get crazy, CBS.

Don't forget to add that the episode itself was stupid and slow overall without the added lazy, Chinese stereotypes. I couldn't even finish watching it.

sorry wat?

BROND?

I read through all the comments and didn't see any mention of the fact that most child care centers won't take a baby less than 6 weeks old. So either you have a family member/friend who can take your less than 6 week old, or you have to stay home for 6 weeks. For those who are offered no guaranteed time off, this

It says plenty that the talk about Nashville is about unlikable female characters when its the men on the show that are frequently unbearable. Juliet can be self-centered and temperamental but they've only just started showing a side of Avery that's not the guy who would ditch his old band when offered a record

Reading y'all's comments. It looks like I need to start washing Nashville. I thought it'd be MY KINDA SHOW, and now I'm just gonna start.

This is why I love Julia Louie-Dreyfus. She played Elaine on Seinfeld, Christine on the New Adevnetures of Old Christine, and Selena on Veep. They are all terrible unlikable people, but you still love the shows and the characters, because she is such a great actress.

I love Nashville. Nashville rules. Cannot wait for the show to return!
