This is okay, but I liked last year's better. For Black Friday, they still sold Cards Against Humanity, but for $5 more than usual.

She has fantastic hair. Especially for a 45 year old male geologist from Colorado.

The thing that comes through loudest here is the complete lack of understanding of sex and consent among the teens at Norman High. That is too often the subtext to a lot of these terrible rape stories. We have a general population with a very shaky notion of what real consent is. It makes you wonder where that

Huh? It wasn't recorded by a police officer and Oklahoma is a one-party consent state, meaning it was recorded legally because one person in the conversation had knowledge the recording was being made. Lawyers jump in here and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you're correct.

I see this coming up a lot in the comments, but let's not forget the person talking is 14.

I also feel really hopeful that one of Brian's "bros" recorded his confession and took it to one of the victims. That's excellent bystander intervention (after the fact) and it's one of the few bits of humanity that's letting me not just crumple in the face of this awfulness.

I want to find one, just one positive in this story, so good on the kid who recorded that drunk fucking scumbag. He should go into police work or something. You can hear him forcibly questioning "Brian," without cajoling him, and successfully getting a confession. Good on you kid. A+ job for an amateur.

He's right in determining that this was a sign of a "deteriorating civilization." One, I would argue, that warranted deterioration. It's hard for people in positions of power to deal with the idea of a world where the structures that help them maintain their status are challenged.

Any good sleeping pad suggestions for couples? I don't like using a coupler for two pads.

Rocks don't kill people, people kill people. I am not a fan of your godless Rock Control preaching around here!

grow up.

"Stay home and get your Black Friday deals online like the rest of us."

Adaptation, the change in species resulting from an environmental stimulus, is a building block of evolution. A change in the kind of species — where you once had one species and now you have two — is speciation. Although they're different parts of evolution, speciation can be rooted in adaptation, as well, and

Goddamn Curt Schilling for making me agree with Keith Law.

People forget one essential thing about science—-the gathering of knowledge and data is a never ending process. Are there some holes in the fossil record? Yes, but only for now. It's been a century and a half since Darwin first promulgated his theory. We have plenty of time to keep finding even more evidence that

So let me get this straight. These people don't believe in evolution because it doesn't work like it does on the Pokemon cartoon?

I did once see a workhorse evolved into a jackass.

The FCC does not 'love to censor' and they don't censor anyone. They levy fines for violating the Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act (and even then, only when they receive citizen complaints), but they have no power beyond levying fines to do anything... and even then, they can only do that for over-the-air broadcasts.

This comment makes me yawn.
