Horror is all about fear, if you are competent and not fazed by something obviously unnatural or utterly defying the natural order then fear isn’t the primary focus. Essential horror is about survival in the face of all consuming fear. Urban fantasy is about problem solving in a mythical/modern setting. One appeals to

Nicely played.

I always pictured him as a bald Opie from SoA, but I do like the Fred Johnson casting. I had pictured him more like Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad, but I like Chad L. Coleman in the brief bit we’ve seen.

Yup Karen Traviss was 1 book away from completion when the clone wars got it snuffed. Sadly Disney has made noise about distancing Boba Fett from the clone stuff and bringing it more in line with the clone wars, which is terribly depressing. This is the reason there is so little heard about the proposed Boba Fett

No worries, always happy to share. Karen Travis and 1 or 2 others created a very rich and beautiful culture that stood in stark contrast to the Jedi and Sith.

Nope Mandos or Mandalorians. They got burned back when Lucas/douche burned the Clone commando series so the clone wars writers could get lazy for one episode and now Disney is looking for ways to annul anything Mando related even further by fluffying the Boba Fett film. Not every SW fan wants magic bacteria with Magic

Nope SW has burned me enough all my excitement is for Deapool, I’ll still go see star wars but their apathy towards Mandos has cooled my enthusiasm significantly.

It was fun watching Joan just smoke Sherlock at the video game. I was also very glad to finally see the return of Alfredo, his relationship to Sherlock is one of the more interesting aspects of this show as they have no professional connection.

My problem with Amos and casting is the person playing him just doesn’t look intimidating, Amos isn’t just an Earther he’s kinda big is the impression given in The Churn and parts of the books. Wes Chatham doesn’t look intimidating in the least, also Naomi doesn’t look like a belter really. I get casting versus

Glad to know I’m not the only who thinks “Arvin Sloane” when mr. Rifkin is on screen. lol

Glad to see you guys giving this the recap treatment. My favorite line Holmes “ Let his brains out for a bit of fresh air.” Truly a great show Natalie Dormer’s Moriarity is fantastic and not over used thankfully. Also the story arc with Mycroft was a lot of fun to watch unfold. Looking forward to this each week Mika!

I truly belive that had to be a quiet not to him. I kept waiting to find out he wanted to make cheese so he could cook pizza.

See I thought Farrel was great in the part. He came across like a great white shark cruising through the neighborhood. He just had that casual menace that just rode under the surface and was all the more scary because of it. In every scene the smile never touches his eyes when he’s “playing human” but comes out full

I enjoyed this one MUCH more than van Helsing. Where Van Helsing’s Dracula came off as a bad 80’s lead singer looking for a second career, this villain came off as a decent schemer. Also Vin’s character was way less tiresome than Jackman’s was.

Actually driving too far under the limit is illegal as well as you are just as much if not more of a danger to others.

Once again Cool_Breeze thanks for the recap. Like others I scan the article then look for you in the comments ;-) I’m really curious about the picture Strand was looking at so tenderly. I also loved how Nick showed Strand he had other skills with the key, very nice touch. I also enjoyed that Madison showed some true

I remember watching that several times as a kid late at night on weekends on the local tv station after hours shows.

yeah, Gods of Hollywood was quite the revelation.

If you watch the last episode of last season, they say they had refined the terrigen but couldn’t get all the crystals out which was what made them lethal to non-inhumans. But the final scene showed the the mutagenic mist dissolving into the water leaving the crystals behinds. So what the fish took in was the

Excellent review, sorry Germain this guy is nailing it.
