Actually “Speed 2: Cruise Control” would be a fine movie if you just called it “Cruise Control” and dropped the Speed 2 branding. It was its own movie and was your typical action thriller (ala Passenger 57, Turbulence, Under Siege, etc). But having the Speed brand made people think it was going to be another 55+…
