Exactly. All they need is to be parallel to the EPA standard. They could get the same cars due to NAFTA. They’re already manufacturing a bunch
right but when you ban something, you ban it in the whole country or state. It’s effectiveness & enforcement solely in a city vs just outside a city is questionable.
it does require engine changes. Just ask GM. Seals have to be changed, fuel lines may need to be changed, etc
has to be cost effective from a business standpoint.
Not sure about the laws for the individual cities, but that’s asking for a lawsuit. You need to incentivize or provide some sort of assistance to make that happen
