So, you're telling me we are trying to distinguish between paparazzi worship or male worship? That seems... really narrow. And something that overlaps quite often.

Oh, I understand that. But if you're going to pick level, we should understand depth, too, then. Because while Kardashian has a pervasive media presence, her acclaim is almost universally derided. On the other hand, Watson's sporadic blips in the news is met with much less scorn.

After all, if we're going make a

I'm not sure what the difference is. Because they're an idol group, I hope you're not insinuating that AKB48, a group consisting of dozens of girls, is famous for... sex tapes? And they're not wizards, so...

I have not kept up with the New 52 Barbara Gordon Batgirl past the first few arcs, but did they rebuild that dynamic duo? Because, yeah, the Stephanie/Kara friendship was pretty darn awesome.

I feel like even the good guys (Valve is pretty good for industry standards; mind you, this is someone who hates Steam for ruining old CS so there's no bias there) have zealot fanboys like this.

Haha, no way! If Power Stone had a story, I totally missed it. I was referring to the favourite Dreamcast game part. Because any answer that is not Power Stone is wrong. =P

Ahem. Excuse me. I think you misspelled Power Stone.

I don't know. I've always found that solution-based propositions to the problem in my relationships have always been more hurtful to me.

While I agree with you that this article fits in a weird spot on the Fighting Game proficiency scale, it should also be noted that most spectators of these games also fall along that weird part of the proficiency scale—a place where they can tell you all about footsies and 50/50s and whose overheads counter what

Oh, no, of course you won't get better by reading this article. There are much better guides out there for getting better. I did send this article to my brother, however, who is DISGUSTINGLY HORRIBLE at fighting games.

Actually, this article should be perfect for you, then.

You are one of the good guys! My brother shares that flaw and I like to think he's one of the good guys, too.

More and more news coming out of the nerd community (i.e. gaming [both of the tabletop and video variety], comics, and technology) showing sexism makes me wonder if these "disenfranchised men" were not disenfranchised for a reason.

It really depends. Are we talking about your bouncing Yoshimitsu?

So, you're telling me you have never seen a man use social barriers that women have as a way to manipulate a situation or create a beneficial circumstance for himself? I'm sure you're one of the good guys. Your flaw is elsewhere, but it is not in the form of manipulation or some misuse of power. I am curious what

Wha? Haha, you read up to the end of the first paragraph and not the beginning of the second one? I am nowhere NEAR the good guys. They do exist (in no small number), but I specifically keep away from temptations like that Reddit business because I know I am not among their number.

As a man, I cannot agree more with this statement. And consumption is the least of the destructive things that men can do to women. Objectification is just the first step in a long parade of injustices men have not only grown to accept, but perpetuate. I regret to fan any fear you already have, but you are so

No way. I saw Jezebel duck out early with The Onion. It was Vice that blew Buzzfeed that night. It was a hard break-up w/ Upworthy last week at homecoming.

Ah, we're comparing Jezebel and Reddit. I was under the impression that we were comparing levels of privacy invasion which is why I made the comparison. In terms of the two, I'd have to agree with your assessment since we are now talking about distribution instead of perpetration.

Actually, that is a fair assessment of ANW. As a longterm fan of both this and the original show Sasuke from Japan, I was always dismayed to see the Japanese competitors be at a clear disadvantage against the American competitors because ANW's obstacles are heavily skewed for people who are taller.
