There is a very strong rhetoric of "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem" here on Jezebel, but there is a bit of nuance in your example.

I lost about 4 years to WoW. Lost as in a way that one would lose themselves in a torrid love affair. Even though the guild motto was "RL before WoW", we found that each member made an active effort to spend more and more time with one another in-game that WoW was actually part of what was real.
She miter get away with the theft, but I assume that those Seoul bastards will chase her down and have her suffer their wreath.
I think the going rate is one-for-one right now. I hear Pokemon is like Asian catnip.
Best way to dispel that paranoia is by actually interacting with them. Nothing makes a friend (of all races, whites included) feel like a curated oddity than having a friend who only asks to hang out when it's convenient for them.
Can I be your friend? I'm not white, but Asian and from what I hear, you may not have any Asian friends yet.
Most pokemon fight like humanoids when they're going hand-to-hand anyway.
Plus, these are the same people who also have done SoulCalibur. Have you seen Voldo fight? He may LOOK humanoid, but he hardly fights as one. Same goes for Yoshimitsu, actually.
Are we talking about portable gaming systems in general or just gaming while traveling?
Because, honestly, I have put 400+ hours on Pokemon alone and doing so in the comfort of my bed while lying down is great. Add to that my 300+ hours in both FE: Awakening and Harvest Moon: ANB and you'll see I spend a lot of time…
Singles hasn't been used for generations because it's mostly imba and unimaginative. Doubles is great for its balance and, as we can see, Game Freak has been balancing their game around that format for more robust competition. Singles is the single-player format.
Rotation or gtfo! Triples are just the boring version of Doubles. Now ROTATION battles are where it's at!
#3 is probably closest to the truth. At least, that is my hope.
I think repeating the fact will still garner more attention that, indeed, girls and women are playing Pokemon and doing so at a competitive level in BOTH the TCG and VG.
Officially, nothing has been said about further expansions into the Diablo III franchise.
DAT PACHIRISU.
Pachirisu is champion material!
Yep! Anyone who's been paying attention to the Championships will see that the Masters Division is so much amazing fun with a great diversity of pokemon.
No problem. I like to think that video gamers from all walks can enjoy a little bit of what Pokemon's competitive scene has to offer. =)
The tournaments look a lot like what a large-scale turn-based game tournament would look like. Lots of people sitting down, facing each other and looking down at the table a lot.
It... it's finally on! And the first match... has Sableye? o.O
As BiS said, the original intro, much like the original 151 pokemon, is the most recognisable and iconic because the most vocal fans tend to be the ones that wax nostalgic.
