This is why it’s so important to keep the end goal of publicly traded mega corporations like this in mind: making money for their shareholders is their first priority. They can’t put their fans or creativity first, because they accepted a lot of money from investors who ultimately own the business. They can’t afford

Agreed. It’s really obvious to anyone on the outside that this is unsustainable.

Seriously. No, seriously. I'm all for anatomically correct character models. Nothing we haven't seen before.

The hair products industry must be huge in Japan, and South Korea. That is seriously the first thing I thought when I saw the article.

Or, did you mean you know where those tentacles are going? *rimshot*

I never will understand parents like this. I think a better response would have been to ask for a portion of the prize money for household cash - could have ended up being a mini-windfall for the entire family. My answer would have been different if this would have taken a large portion of time and cost them money to

This is cooler and more terrifying than the official designs for monsters used in Skyrim.

#18 became my favorite character as a result of how coolly she dealt with her opponents combined with #17. I wish she’d remained that way.

I’m a sucker for realistic proportions and while Toriyama’s style has it’s charms, these covers are awesome!

Even as a kid, I always wondered why Scarlet Witch didn’t take Vision’s place in this game.

Probably because she got paid lol.

It's designs like this that keep me from appreciating Metal Gear games. Not too mention the bizarre and over-indulgent storylines. I appreciate that there is a fanbase for this, but it can be difficult to take Kojima seriously when it seems that he sometimes really wants his games to be realistic and hard boiled yet

I wonder this, as well. I do understand that tech demos are created precisely to dazzle us with the prettiness of the technical capabilities, but I was hoping they could also show off new scenarios that could use this capability, such as expanded A.I., dynamic particle effects, and maybe show off expanded character

I tend to prefer skill based games, so hate the leveling up process as a general matter...so this video made me chuckle.

I agree. The WASD control scheme has always been superior, IMO, and the only thing that makes the traditional Diablo control scheme seem reasonable is tradition.

You mean travel to all the other cities to level up the classes to unlock the higher level classes before you get to a certain point of levelling?

I do have to say that the vast difference between the old school Zeldas and the new ones is pretty jarring. It wasn’t necessarily like “Ghosts n Goblins” or “Castlevania” in terms of ridiculous levels of difficulty, but the newer games have completely gotten rid of any type of difficulty so they are mostly handholding

Looks more interesting than the regular versions.

I’d argue that having to constantly turn around to watch your back would be more dramatic. And reorienting yourself should not be that difficult - Diablo’s environments were never as complicated as adventure games. But I liked Heretic 2 and the Alice game, so am not too confused by turning around.

I like this view a lot better, TBH.
