I agree! I love the idea of the Zelda games, but I never finished "ALttP" nor any of the later games!

Can you do the same to Snow?

Yes, but it was full of thought balloons to help explain the time travel sequences and past history. Even then, a lot of information had to be filled in between the lines. I'm not sure a movie can do a dystopian future justice. Especially since the novel's setup has two simultaneous storylines with their own

This wasn't a particularly good trailer. The presence of so many cameos is usually a bad sign. I am on the fence as to whether a live action, 2-3 hour movie is the right genre for this storyline - as much as fans want to get the big screen, CGI experience, it is often the case that comic books, novels and other forms

Gah! What in the world is the girl on the right wearing?! Fashion disaster!!

I was about to say the same thing. I really like his work overall, but that picture just clashes with what the "Akira" manga and to a lesser extent, the "Akira" anime, were about. I appreciate that at least Kaneda is wearing a t-shirt that exposes his belly button in solidarity with Kei, though.

The problem is the grind, which is a problem overall with MMOs. I would love to be able to play a skill based, character-focused MMO without any grinding in it, whatsoever, but have yet to find one.

I agree. MMOs are over-rated for the sheer fact that the specific development of "roles", balancing and forced interaction after hours of being handheld, IMHO, leads to the exact opposite of what an adventurer should be and what a quest should be about.

Adrianne Curry did a pretty good job. Plus she's into comics herself, so it works.

I always hated the Slave Leia costume. It was never sexy to me and Carrie Fisher, while pretty in that role, just didn't seem to have the right body for it. Especially the uncomfortable ankle boots she had on.

Great article. But some of this is to be expected when one is doing a job; having a hobby is very different from needing to carry out a duty in order to produce a product that people are willing to spend money or time to purchase. Other parts of it may have to do with just outgrowing a certain genre; "Final Fantasy"

I miss the days of Ultima Online where roving bands of murderers made the more established adventurers have something to do without quests or large scale plots. I am playing FFXIV right now and I can't escape being bored even though the quest design does ease your transition from one point/hub to the next.

Ah ok. I may have just been assuming how the game played since every MMO I've played (except "Ultima Online" and other older MMOs way back in the day). I've watched Let's Plays but I never thought CoH looked different so never delved that deeply into it.

I agree. They should really modify their business plan or fundraising strategy. Scale back from an MMO, make a great multiplayer game to fine tune the game system and gain audience by focusing on a strong story and interesting character customization dynamics. Plus I'm sick of MMOs; dps/healer/tank/cc/etc are done to

This reminds me that I need to purchase Season 1 of "Vikings" on DVD. I hope they make some bobble head dolls of those characters.

It's kind of creepy that Mario, Luigi and Toad are looking up Princess Toadstool's skirts when they are flying up through the pipe. I like how her hairstyle changes to a ponytail when she throws fireballs though - probably does wonders to prevent singed hair. I think it's time for Princess Daisy to be in these games;
