She became an alcoholic after how ridiculous FFXIII and FFXIII-2's stories were. The liquor helped her deal with the bad script, poor pacing and Vanille's voice.

And I'm volunteering to go over to settle it. Sign me up!

I disliked the show after the third season. I didn't realize other people didn't like it anymore until I saw the message boards. It seems like they go for the cheap laughs most of the time and a lot of the jokes about "nerd culture" fall flat.

Wow - I wish there was a classic Saturn Girl model with the chin length hair do. This game makes me want to buy a Wii! Thanks for sharing :)!

I'm very impressed! Are Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad and Cosmic Boy in there?

It didn't make any sense, but it sure was pretty. BTW that world looked ten times more interesting than the world we played through in FFXIII.

I like the Captain Harlock figure. It's hard to keep up with Galaxy Express 999 figures since so many models and kits have been sold before. Is there an Emeraldas or Maetel one to match or were those in previous releases by other companies? The Yuna and Yuffie figurines are well done, as well (despite my lack of

I'm somewhat lost, too. I think it's about a class of high school aged special operatives that travel around on fetch quests/missions. Somewhat like SEED agents. The world has four nations, one of which starts to attack the others, and one of the crystals that grants magical powers fails, leaving the class of high

I also heard that Airborne Brigade is supposed to end soon. The current event is supposed to be their last.

I was extremely cautious the first few times I played. I spent hours farming to increase my stats and crept around every point. It made defeating the Gargoyles and Queelaag that much more sweet since I was so conservative.

He should be cannon fodder or Otakon's body actor. There is a pretty large difference between how a trained fighter/soldier/warrior holds themselves & guns and civilians.

I played the Japanese version on an emulator, and Palom & Porom were alive in the Epilogue, as well. The only party member who died permanently was Tellah.

If I recall correctly, the Elder releases them from the spell which is why Palom and Porom were able to send their prayers to the party before the final battle. In the epilogue, it is revealed that they are alive and fully mobile.

Not a fan of this format. Most mobile "card" games just end up being cash grabs with static animations.

I never had a problem with that area either. I played a Sorceror so I did tend to use the invisibility spell whenever it seemed the game was trying to set me up. I found the Bed of Chaos to be very annoying, just because timing the jump to the root could be annoying, and the boss just seemed cheap.

If we went by history while commenting on a fantasy series, though, the knight would probably hire the peasants to kill the giant man eating spiders while debauching the peasant's daughters and sons in between boss fights. :)

I somewhat recall earlier "Ultima" games having party members who could come from non-combat related classes of society. Maybe having a shepherd, hunter or woodsman to do various tasks as part of your group would make more sense. But to be fair, many warriors in certain Northern European countries would carry axes and

Generally, MMOs are not my forte but I really liked "A Secret World's" setting. Unfortunately the combat bored me as well and it reminded me precisely why I dropped any MMO I got involved with. I agree with you that they need to convert the combat to adventure style or even something like Alan Wake, instead of the

This reminds me that I always wanted the actors to actually train with the weapons they used when in costume. They'd just magically get the ability to use their weapons expertly even though we never saw them train with them. I guess the juice bar didn't have an archery range!

No; the whole premise of Gokaiger was that they steal/borrow the powers of older superhero teams using power keys but the power keys can be used to create fake versions of the original heroes. That episode had the Gokaiger fighting the fake OhRanger/Zeo Ranger teams to earn their ranger keys.
