who the hell pronounces it with an e? Milk like ilk...not elk....

Was this posted seven days too late?

I assumed she was just saying "university" as a fill in for the name of whatever university the woman went to. Like the woman probably said.. no dear I went to FU.. or something.

This is one of those things that kind of depends on the management of that Sonic. It used to be that they were paid the sub-minimum of 2.13 and I always tipped then. But that was more when drive ins were more present in the public consciousness, and tipping happened all the time. I think that as it became more

Also I don't think I see tip shaming against famous people for not tipping extravagantly. No one says "that rich guy only gave 20% when with his dough he could pay 50%." They tip shame them when they pay 5% or pay no tip or some other damned thing.

Okay so after acknowledging that most states still keep waiters at the sub-minimum wage and that her state does not she says:

I concur wholeheartedly. You should also look into state based equivalents. Unfortunately if the events have not happened within the last 300 days then the statute of limitations has passed. If not go for it. One quibble though. EEOC and state equivalents do not generally offer free legal counsel per se. They will

Some of these (i.e. the first two) are good examples of workplace harassment, and would be the basis of a nice tidy lawsuit or at least EEO charge. Both have good sources of proof (text messages or witnesses). I would love to know if anyone filed.

My fault for awkward wording. And my wife might agree with you.

Well what I was getting it was that it was me saying it about my wife. Meaning that me and my wife were the reverse. It cannot be all men, because I am not that way. :-)

I do this too. It is a life saver. I had to set a specific one aside because once you call it a "garbage bowl" you just cant use it for mixing no matter how many times you wash it. But just buy a regular plastic bowl for this, no need to buy Rachel Ray version.

I agree with this. But when you are done cooking. Someone else washes the dishes!

Nooooooooo!!!! One thing does not follow the other. I do all the grocery shopping, and all the cooking, and I clean while cooking to minimize fuss. It is only fair that someone else washes the dishes when we are done eating.

Well it can't be all men. I was going to say the same about my wife.

In all fairness. Deep fried ravioli is unbelievably tasty.

There is a certain set of Americans who for reasons that escape me think meat=beef and that anything not beef is not meat. weird

maybe distinguishing between canned tuna and fresh sashimi?

Which is delicious and heavenly.. but yes they have regular steaks.. often good. Not hard hitting steak house good but better than average.

This is not universal. Where I am we say hockey and ice hockey interchangeably. Usually adding the ice part to distinguish it from roller hockey. Tunafish and tuna I hear interchanged a lot.

Okay Cracker Barrel is only in the south, west and mid west. Its essentially southern and I am sorry its awesome. Country fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, collard greens, okra and pinto beans.....heaven heaven heaven. There are far better examples of a southern cooker, but no other chain that comes close.
